Meet the Team

Max Hannemann, President
Max, founder of Maximum Sports Agency, is a certified NFL Contract Advisor. In his first year as an agent, Max negotiated three NFL contracts, including a multi-million dollar free agent contract for an 8-year NFL veteran. Max's strong passion and knowledge of sports along with his legal background make him a valuable agent. Max enjoys every aspect of being an agent, from recruiting the player and getting to know him and his family to negotiating that player's contract with an NFL GM. Max's clients know that he is honest, hard-working and an enjoyable agent to work with.

Max was born in Orange County, California and raised in Laie, Hawaii. He comes from a "football size" family of 11 brothers and sisters. Max and his wife Miyuki have two children: Joseph and Tiana. He was the Student Body President at Kahuku High School in 1990-91. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Business at BYU-Hawaii and graduated summa cum laude (3.85 GPA). Max continued on to receive his Law Degree from the University of Hawaii. Max is admitted to practice law in the State of Hawaii.

Howard Hannemann, Vice-President
Howard brings to our clients over 15 years of valuable business experience. His ability to grow organizations in both sales and business developments is carried over to handling the business aspect (marketing and publicity) of our clients. Howard partners up with a network of top marketing companies to maximize the local and national opportunities that exist in the marketplace. His business savvy, work ethic and hard work are greatly appreciated by our clients as they know he is representing their best interests.

Howard was born and raised in Hawaii. He graduated from Kahuku High School and received his Bachelors Degree in Business from BYU-Hawaii. Howard is a strong family man as he and his wife are raising six kids in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Allan Cunanan, Player Representative
Allan is a Certified Contract Advisor in the National Football League and in the Canadian Football League. Allan specializes in finding the "Diamond in the Rough" players from the smaller schools and helping them get professional opportunities. Prior to joining Maximum Sports Agency, Allan worked as an independent agent for three years helping players get pro opportunities in the Arena leagues and overseas. He also managed a semi-pro football team in the Bay area for over three years. As a result, Allan knows the importance of personal attention needed in the business relationship between a player and an agent.

Allan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in both California and Hawaii. He resides in San Francisco, California. Allan graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1998, where he was on the Deans List.
